From 21. – 23. November 2014 HeK celebrates the opening of its new venue on Freilager-Platz with two evenings of concerts, workshops and the first ever solo exhibition in Switzerland by japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda.

Music program
For its opening, HeK presents a two-night program of brilliant music: The first night is dedicated to the continuum of House and Techno, idiosyncratically interpreted by Hieroglyphic Being, Stellar OM Source, Herva and Sassy J.
Saturday’s program is focused on confrontations and juxtapositions in experimental and dance music—with a joint performance by British cellist Lucy Railton and Computer-Composer Russell Haswell as highlight, accompanied by patten, One Circle, Thug Entrancer and Rainer Veil.

One night ticket: CHF 18
Two night ticket: FR/SA: CHF 30
Advance tickets:

The REMOTEWORDS project (Achim Mohné & Uta Kopp) spreads its messages on rooftops from where they’re picked up by virtual globes like google earth and exhibited worldwide. At the opening, a drone will fly over HeK’s new venue and make the message on its roof visible for the first time ever.
